The Young Artists Show (YAS) is a
new component to the 2007 Junction City Art Fair. YAS
will highlight the talents of middle and high school-aged
students from the tri-county area (Peoria, Tazewell,
and Woodford), providing a venue for aspiring young
artists to show off their work. Please click

Volunteers
Community assistance is an essential part of our fair;
it takes many dedicated volunteers to pull off this
event. We really need your support! The Fair takes place
June 2-3 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.
Job Descriptions:
Set Up/Tear Down
On Saturday, 6-2-07, assist staff and artists in setting
up booths. On Sunday, 6-3-07, assist staff and artists
in closing down and packing up booths. Volunteers are
needed in two- to four-hour shifts during Fair hours
(10:00am-4:00pm) each day and 5:30-7:30pm Friday evening.
Artist Registration
Check in the artists and distribute information packets
as they arrive (Friday evening 5:30-7:30pm and Saturday
morning 6:30-9:30am).
Boothsitter/Surveys
Walk through the fair and assist artists, as they need
breaks. Collect basic demographic information from fair
attendees. Volunteers are needed in two- to four-hour
shifts during Fair hours (10:00am-4:00pm) each day.
