| Mentor Apprentice Program (MAP)
MAP is an intensive 8-week program offered by The Peoria
Art Guild to students in local high schools. Designed
to help these students discover their potential, the
program exposes them to a wide variety of work force
preparation skills. Not only do they learn artistic
skills, but more importantly, they gain confidence and
discipline in team building and problem solving skills.
We are proud to say we have had many successful graduates
of our program… many of whom have earned college scholarships
to art schools like the Art Institute of Chicago, the
Minnesota School of Art and Design, and the University
of Illinois, and ranked in the top 10 art programs in
the country, and various well-known liberal arts schools.
