Shibori Tie-Dye Workshop

Students will learn a variety of Ancient Japanese art of Shibori resist-dye techniques and will create a colorful and unique tie-dyed cotton scarf. 

Ages 16 and up

Materials Needed: Rubber Gloves, plastic grocery bag

Materials provided by the Peoria Art Guild: Scarf, dye, twine, rubber bands, thread and needle, wood resist blocks

We are committed to the health and safety of students, instructors and patrons, Our organization will be following recommended guidelines for Phase 4 of reopening: Anyone exhibiting symptoms will not be permitted in the building. Class sizes will be limited and workstations set up to allow 6 ft social distance between students and instructors. Masks are required for everyone. Each classroom will contain hand sanitizer and sanitizing stations. 

All classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Students will be notified of class cancellation by 2 pm the day before class. Students can either retain a credit toward a future class or receive a full refund in 3-5 business days.
