Woodcarving 2

Woodcarving II picks right up from where woodcarving 1 leaves off. We finish off the second project of the first class and move on to 3-D carving, ‘carving in the round’…carving life-like figurines. Using a proprietary process the instructor created himself that is a direct extension of relief carving.

Upon completion, students will be practiced and confident in applying processes learned to complete their own 3-D carving projects.

Prequisite: Completion of Woodworking 1 or approval by Instructor

Cost: $100

Tuesdays 5:00-7:00 pm

Required Materials: Set of 6 Detail Chisels included provided in Woodcarving 1

We are committed to the health and safety of students, instructors and patrons, Our organization will be following recommended guidelines from the Illinois Department of Public Health: Anyone exhibiting symptoms will not be permitted in the building. Masks are recommended for everyone when social distancing is not possible. Each classroom will contain hand sanitizer and sanitizing stations. 

All classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Students will be notified of class cancellation by 2 pm the day before class. Students can either retain a credit toward a future class or receive a full refund in 3-5 business days.
