Textile Dyeing Techniques

Explore a variety of fabric dyeing techniques in this 5-week long class. Try your hand at 5 basic Shibori techniques, a modified batik technique, color mixing, dyeing multiple colors, and bringing new life to an old fabric with overdyeing. In this class we’ll be dyeing a variety of rayon and cotton scarves, large cotton fabric squares, and second-hand clothing.

Students: Bring rubber gloves and wear clothes that can get messy
