Explore a range of materials and techniques for making creative artists’ books and custom journals. Learn unique binding methods and paper treatments with a different project each week, Tuesday evening 6:00 to 9:00. There are two five-week sessions, you can take the first or the second or both. All essential materials are provided, although you may supplement these with items or materials that have personal significance.

Class One: Introduction to Book Binding – some basics and making a hardcover sewn address book.
Class Two: Decorative paper treatments: Paste-Paper and Marbling
Class Three: Playing with Accordions: Carousel, Tunnel and other structures
Class Four: Under the Covers and between the sheets: The packed Artists’ Book
Class Five: Workday to complete projects
