Get on a wheel and learn how to spin a lump of clay into pottery. You will learn the basics of wheel-throwing and make a set of functional mugs, bowls, plates, and/or pet dishes. You will also learn about making textures and markings in the surface of the clay. Come get your hands muddy! Snacks will be served.

Continue centering and demos

Show examples of ceramics work (esp mugs and bowls)

Centering + Raising walls

Day 4

Textures + Handles

Hand building techniques

Day 5

Demo glazing + finishing techniques

Finish glazing

Please bring a basic clay tool set, water bottle and a old towel.
