Clay is the most primitive art form of human kind. Get to know it in this summer class and learn about the massive potential clay holds, while having fun with it! We will start by making hanging tiles, then we will move on to hand building mugs and pet dishes. You will be able to take turns trying out the pottery wheel. I will also demonstrate how to build sculptural forms like plants and animals. By the end, you will have a few small projects to take home. All levels welcome, no prior experience with clay is necessary. Make sure to wear casual clothes that can get muddy! Snacks will be served.
