Spend the morning at the wheel and leave with a one-of-a-kind mug to call your own. In this one-day workshop, you'll learn the basics of wheel throwing while sipping on hot coffee provided by the studio (or bring your own iced coffee if that's your taste).

Students will throw and shape their own mug from start to finish, with guidance every step of the way. Pieces will need time to dry and bisque fire, so please wait 2-3 weeks before coming to pick up your piece. Once your mug is bisque-fired, you'll have two options for glazing: PAG members are welcome to come in during open studio hours and glaze their own piece. If you'd rather leave it to us, just ask instructor Claire to glaze it for you using one of our bucket glaze colors!

Clay, glaze, and firing costs are all included in the price.
The Peoria Art Guild provides all necessary tools and materials.
