Peoria Art guild fiber & Crafts studio
At the Peoria Art Guild, our Fiber & Crafts Studio is a warm, creative space dedicated to the art of working with soft and textile-based materials. This studio is perfect for anyone interested in sewing, knitting, embroidery, weaving, felting, dyeing, and other hands-on craft practices. We welcome beginners and curious first-timers as well as experienced makers looking to expand their skills and creative projects.
Our studio is equipped with sewing machines, work tables, cutting mats, irons, and a variety of fiber tools and supplies. The space supports both handwork and machine-based processes, making it ideal for everything from garment construction and quilting to surface design, textile embellishment, and sculptural fiber pieces. Classes and open studio hours offer opportunities to learn new techniques, work independently, and connect with other makers in a supportive, creative environment. Fiber & Crafts Open Studios
Open Studio sessions offer dedicated time to work independently in our Fiber & Crafts Studio. These sessions are great for bringing personal projects, practicing skills learned in class, or experimenting with new techniques in a shared creative space. Shared studio resources include sewing machines, cutting tools, ironing stations, work tables, and general-use fiber equipment. Students are free to use any fabric not labeled for an upcoming class.
Sessions are “pay-as-you-go” for monthly or individual attendance. The fee helps cover the use of shared tools, workspace, and basic communal supplies.
A studio monitor will be present to assist with questions, support safe use of equipment, and help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Who is eligible for Open Studios?
All attendees must be at least 18 years old
All attendees must be knowledgeable in the safe use of sewing machines, irons, and cutting tools.

Current and Previous Guild Students with experience working with Fiber or Textile materials
