Peoria Art Guild Fine Art Studio

At the Peoria Art Guild, our Fine Art Studio offers a welcoming and versatile space for creative exploration. Designed primarily for drawing and painting, this studio supports a wide range of practices across the fine art umbrella. It’s an ideal environment for artists looking to build foundational skills, experiment with new materials, or further develop their personal work. We welcome beginners and emerging artists of all backgrounds, including students, educators, practicing artists, and members of the general public.

The Fine Art Studio is fully equipped to accommodate a variety of media and approaches, including drawing, painting, mixed media, and other fine art processes. Classes provide hands-on, in-depth learning guided by experienced instructors, while also allowing room for individual exploration and creative growth.

No instruction is provided for Open Studio Sessions, materials available will be provided, materials unavailable to Open Studios will be put away and appropriately labeled.

Fine Art Open Studios

Open studio sessions offer an exciting way to create at your own pace in a art-community centered environment. There are shared resources in the studio including paper, canvas, charcoal, inks, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and oil paint when available. Students are welcome to bring their own supplies in addition to using what’s available.

Sessions are “pay-as-you-go” for monthly or individual sessions. The fee covers the cost of materials such as paper, canvas, paint, etc.

An experienced artist monitor will be present in the studio to assist with any questions and supply sourcing.

Who can sign-up for Open Studio?

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Are an active Member

  • Are an active Fine Arts Student with student ID
    (eligible for free student membership!)

  • Are a current PAG student, or have previously taken a class at PAG
