Interested in supporting local artists while participating in a unique creative experience?

Peoria Art Guild is building a roster of art models for drawing and painting classes throughout the year. No prior modeling experience is required — just a willingness to hold poses and work in a respectful, professional studio environment.

What to expect

Art model pose for small-group adult classes focused on observational drawing and painting. Sessions typically range from short gesture poses to longer, seated or standing poses.

• Classes are instructor-led and professionally facilitated

• Group sizes are small (usually under 10 students)

• Models receive clear direction and regular breaks between poses

• Sessions last 1-2 hours

Modeling Guidelines

To ensure comfort and clarity for everyone involved:

• All modeling is draped or clothed (no nude modeling)

• Models must be 18 years or older

• A calm, respectful environment is always maintained

• Poses are agreed upon in advance and can be adjusted as needed

Compensation

Models are compensated $15 per class hour for their time.

Who Makes a Great Model?

You don’t need to be an artist! We welcome:

• Community members

• Dancers, actors, yoga practitioners

• Students and creatives

• Anyone comfortable holding poses and working collaboratively
