Whether you're new to printmaking or looking to refine your skills, this course will guide you through creating custom handmade letterpress prints.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of relief carving and printing using blocks and relief gouges. Students will see examples of various work from different artists, experiment with carving and inking a block, and create an edition of their own prints. They will also have the chance to use an etching press and work in a print studio.
